Market Stalls Sales Assistant
Baked is on the hunt for our next Sales Assistant for our Market Stall locations.
About the Role: Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for Market stall set up and pack down, this includes gazebo's, trestle tables and display of our sweet treats.
- Maintaining organisation and cleanliness.
- Restocking items.
- Contributing to and executing end of day cleaning at our shop in Caringbah
- Applying food safety and workplace health and safety standards.
- Shifts are approx Saturday 6:30am - 2:00pm & other occasional markets can be anytime between 6:30am - 4.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays
- Must be able to pack van with baked goods in the morning & return to the shop in Caringbah and conduct a clean up - washing all containers and trays from the market.
- Must have drivers licence to drive our work van to and from Sutherland & other locations. Van is automatic.
- Bump in times are strict, you must be punctual and on time for shifts.
- We may require someone to bake some items before heading to the markets (start time of 4/4:30am) please let us know at the time of applying if this interests you.
About You: To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience in a similar position is a bonus
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage tasks efficiently.
- Work well under pressure
- Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Be a fast learner about products to relay information to customers.
