Refund policy
We want you to be 100% happy with your order, however we do have some policies in place.
Our 30% deposits paid when ordering cakes are non-refundable.
Orders are not booked and confirmed until a deposit is paid.
CANCELLATIONS:
If the customer wants to cancel the order, the customer must advise in writing to Baked Collective and do so at least 7 days prior to the pick up or delivery date.
Paying a deposit OR paying your order in full means that you accept all terms and conditions.
Enquiry Form and Invoiced Orders:
Cancelling a custom order or invoiced order will result in the loss of your non-refundable deposit.
Online Shop Orders:
For cancellations of online shop purchases, a refund will be issued minus 30% of the product price, provided:
- At least 7 days’ notice is given, and
- No products have been made yet.
Alternatively, a store credit can be applied for future use, however a $20 administration fee will still apply.
Late Cancellations:
Cancelling within 3 days of your collection or delivery date will result in forfeiture of the full booking amount.
In the event of cancellation with less than 7 days notice:
- The full amount of your order is payable/non-refundable. No refund or credit will be given.
In the event of cancellation with more than 7 days notice:
- All requests for cancellations must be made in writing via email.
- 30% of your order is non-refundable
- If you need to postpone your event, please contact us with via email with AT LEAST 10 days notice. Please note that your new date may not be available. If your new date is available, all monies paid will be transferred to the new date.
Other Information:
When placing an order a deposit of 30% is required to secure your booking. This means that we can order stock for your order such as toppers, florals, cake boards and other necessities. It also means you are a confirmed booking for that date as only a certain amount of orders are taken per week.
If an order is cancelled you will not receive your deposit back. All deposits are non-refundable. If your event, however, is postponed, your deposit can be transferred to the new date you have chosen pending my availability. If postponing, it will be for the same cake as originally booked in, with MINOR adjustments that can be made. Postponing is subject to Baked Collective having availability for the new date.
Full payment can also be made upfront if that is more suited to you, this includes all orders that have been placed online - however if you do cancel within 7 days of your order, 30% of your order that is used as a deposit will be forfeit and the remaining can be refunded in the form as an online store credit.
When cancelling, 30% of your order amount that is used as a deposit will be forfeit and the remaining amount will be refunded to you. For example - if you have placed your cake order for $200 and wish to cancel - $140 will be transferred back/refunded to you.
Your non-refundable booking fee covers the following:
- Securing your date - and turning away other business on your date
-Time spent on administration tasks such as quoting, email responses, phone calls, invoicing and billing, bookkeeping/ accounting costs etc.
All orders must be paid by pickup/delivery date.
Unfortunately we cannot refund any items that have been consumed. Baked Collective takes no responsibility if a cake/order is damaged after if has been picked up or delivered to client's address/venue.
